Oceanside Harbor
This week I focused on the southern side of the harbor where the Harbor Village is located. The Harbor village consists of restaurants, shops, and rentals. I arrived at 12:45 pm and the weather was warm and sunny. Plenty of people and children were sitting outside restaurants having brunch on the patios. The harbor village had a calming and sublime energy compared to my previous blog post at the Harbor pier. The comparison to these two locations is that the pier has a stronger relationship with people and water activities like paddle boarding, fishing, picnicking, whereas the village is a place for human consumption and has manmade factors that are for personal experience, rather than having an interaction with nature and wildlife. My collection of photographs for this week includes memorial benches, boats and their unique names, a bird's eye view of the southern side of the Harbor, crab traps, the lighthouse, and restaurants. Alongside, this week my classmates and I were assigned by my professor to be inspired by Francsico's Emes Canyon list he made from his art research. There I have created 4 lists for the Village Harbor.
