  • Working closely with the Doha Film Institute (DFI), an independent cultural organization based in Qatar, we developed a comprehensive and highly flexible identity and design system. The DFI brand campaign — "I am Film" — features an on-going portrait project by photographer Brigitte Lacombe focusing on the iconic and emerging figures of the Arab film industry. Building on DFI's mission of promoting, educating and cultivating passion for great filmmaking, we continue to work with DFI and its annual film event, the Doha Tribeca Film Festival (DTFF) — a cultural partnership with Tribeca Enterprises — to create campaigns, events, exhibitions, publications and branded collateral in Qatar and its satellite locations in New York, Paris, and Cannes. Our work for the 2011 DTFF includes a mile-long billboard of 600 Lacombe portraits surrounding the Katara Cultural Village where the festival takes place, books documenting the "I am Film" project and the making of the Jean-Jacques Annaud film "Black Gold," and environmental projections and signage throughout the event.
