Design Criteria:
The slogan of my poster design project, and the art night event is:paint for the planet. The event is about promoting public awareness about the climate change crisis with the help of the art language. The event night is included an art exhibition and art collaboration. Several paintings and photographs with the subject of global warming from different artists are being displayed in this exhibition as a visual resource for the viewer. Also, the viewers are be provided with art supplies, and they are able topaint their own paintings with the same subject. The most focuses of this art event are enhancing the awareness of the people about the importance of saving our planet.
Conclusion:

When I started sketching out the thumbnails, I thought that I want to create a poster that would make the viewers think more about their actions and feel responsible. Also, I tried to make a poster to convey the message with an effective approach, at the same time grab their attention about the negative effects of energy consumption that hit our planet. At first, I was struggling with different ideas to represent the concept of global warming. So I started to draw with watercolor to make my first thumbnails, and I picked the melted earth as my main idea. I tried to develop it with different materials. So, first I decided to make the background of my work with watercolor to have the base of the poster design. I took a photo of it and transferred it to the illustrator. I put my final thumbnail as my template and redesign it again. Also, I added the color and do some trims on the picture in order to make a neat final poster. For the font, I was struggling with different ideas like making the font melting, and so at first, I made some thumbnails for the primary fonts. I picked the sharp black font because I wanted to make a contrast with the blue color in the background, and convey the message better. The poster design project gave me a great experience to walk in through the design process.
