Project 2 - Restaurant @ Griffith College Dublin.
The building used is the Wellington Building located on campus, and I have renovated and refurbished it into a restaurant with an apartment on the third floor for the owner.
The 2D drawings made in AutoCAD Architecture and the 3D drawings made by hand. All drawings are colored in Photoshop.
For my presentation I made a scale model of the building: 1:100
I printed out colored plans, sections and facade drawings and glued them to foam board. Then I cut out the exact size, and pinned everything together with needles. From experience I have found that using needles and not glue to put it together gives more room for flexibility and alterations.
The 'glass' is transparent paper, and I drew the logo of the restaurant and the mullions on by hand.
