Through the BLX experience, an intense six week internship program for Bailey Lauerman, (Lincoln, Nebraska) I worked alongside five others as the Creative Director of our team. My role as the creative director was to lead in creative brainstorms with the digital designer and copywriter to form an overarching concept. I also created print elements, social media mock-ups, storyboards and a consistent brand identity for American Enterprise. I also tailored social media to reflect social media was also tailored to reflect the consistent brand image. Our client, The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History tasked the BLX team with developing an integrated marketing campaign that drive educators to the American Enterprise website and its free online resources by getting them excited about the brand and its teaching resources. The creative’s overarching concept was to showcase the moments in history when business innovations moved the country forward, and excite teachers to teach history with a new perspective.
