Portland Museum of Space
Challenges
Designing two logo concepts for the fictional Portland Museum of Space. Both logo designs had to be distinctly different from one another and must embody the look and feel of the museum's host city.
Initial Sketches
I knew the direction I wanted to take the project, and knew that I wanted contemporary, yet playfully inviting logo designs to be appealing to both the youth and the adult visitors.
Logo Variations
I designed multiple logos with different color schemes to help narrow down and refine the final logos.
Final Logos and Branding
A thoughtful compromise between playful and contemporary design that matches the modern, yet quirky, personality of Portland, Oregon.
