For this project, I decided to create an illustrated book for the poem "And the people stayed home" by Kitty O'Meara, in the style of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The Arts and Crafts movement was a return to traditional forms of making, and the poem describes the ways that people are creating new things and looking inwards during this time of quarantine.
