The following is one of my favourite paintings, Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer by David Friedrich. The Painting, however, is painted in portrait. The need to have this painting as a desktop background combined with a love for Photoshopping and a tad bit of boredom incentivised me to create a landscape version. The entire picture is expanded using Photoshop using elements from the original painting. On the left; the original painting, on the right; the landscape version.
