Howard Philips Lovecraft is one of the most influential writers of horror literature of all time. To honor his work, I decided to illustrate some of his stories. However, I am aware that most of the illustrations in Lovecraft's work focus on the Chtulhu Mythos (1927-1937). For this reason I decided to focus on his second narrative stage, the Dream Cycle (1920-1927).//

Howard Philips Lovecraft es uno de los escritores más influyentes de literatura de terror de todos los tiempos. Para homenajear su obra, decidí ilustrar algunos de sus relatos. Sin embargo, soy consciente de que la mayoría de las ilustraciones de la obra de Lovecraft se centra en los Mitos de Chtulhu (1927-1937). Por esta razón decidí centrarme en su segunda etapa narrativa, el Ciclo Onírico (1920-1927).

Although not all the illustrations belong to this period, most of them do it. I think this stage is quite interesting because it raises an exploration of the subconscious through the world of dreams. It also shows a vision of the author that takes him out from the topic of creator of tentaclous monsters.

All these illustration were handmade with pencil, chinese ink and calibrated markers on watercolour paper slightly grainy. 

Below I will show the final illustrations of each story, made with the intention of being published in illustrated anthology form, so they will appear in the order that the stories would appear in this work.//

Todas estas ilustraciones fueron realizadas a mano con lápiz, tinta china y rotuladores calibrados en papel de acuarela ligeramente granulado.
