The Hotel Puerta América, Fourth Floor, complies with the rules and concepts of design that was incorporated within the design proposal for the vantage point in Pirrama Park, Pyrmont. The Hotel Puerta América, follows the themes of framed views and lighting; this is done by following the concept of folding and or the act of torsion. The walls are then creating a tunnel effect alongside the lighting in which gives the walls depth.

Another theme is the non-visual senses that allows a visitor to understand how the fourth level of the hotel appears by touching and listening. The ability to interact with the form without seeing it, allows visitors to grasp a new sense of space and  or how walls can be developed.
