To be eligible for graduation honors, the student must have a minimum of 60 hours of residence at Auburn University. All grades, including those that are affected by course repeat policies and grade adjustment, are considered in the determination of graduation honors. However, grades from S-U option courses and non-credit courses are excluded in the computations.
To qualify for the cum laude honors, a student must have an overall grade average of at least 3.40; 3.60 for those qualified for the magna cum laude honors; and, 3.80 for those qualified for the summa cum laude honors.
