For this book we were given specific constraints. First we had to use a body copy about the American Institute of Architects that was given to us, and second, we had to make it a three color print. I chose to make my book based on Art Deco design, because that style was very influential on architecture in the 1920’s. I decided to make the format of my book very tall to relate to the Art Deco design and for my colors I chose to use red green and black. My fonts are Neue Kabel paired with Cirka. Within the book itself I used many different tertiary elements to tie it to the Art Deco design such as long extending lines, gradients, and repeating patterns.
