Winter in the Hotel Grimsel Hospice means switching off and slowing down as winter outdoor activities are limited to a 5-minute walk around the house. In return you can experience the winter world from morning to evening in the middle of the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 2000 m.

During my 3-day stay at the Grimsel-Hospiz (Swiss Alps, 2000 m a.s.l.) I had a time window of three hours after arrival before the announced weather change with snowfall and wind.

The next morning: the world looked quiet different …
