This infographic ran in the November 2019 issue of Nebraskaland magazine. The audience of Nebraskaland magazine mainly consists of hunters, anglers, outdoor enthusiasts, environmentalists, and outdoor photography fans. Our goal was to educate readers about the significant role that wetlands play in our daily lives, so that they understand the need for wetland conservation. Sometimes environmental issues can be very complex, and while we have lots of data to explain the state of wetlands in Nebraska, readers don’t have the time or the desire to read through several pages of research. An infographic was the perfect solution because it presents the key take-aways from the data in layman’s terms so it’s more digestible.
