Winter in the Grimsel Hospice means switching off and slowing down. Deep in the snow, the historic house is enthroned on a rocky outcrop (2000 m a.s.l.). A game reserve surrounds the hotel and limits in winter outdoor activities to a 5-minute walk around the house.

An ideal place to limit yourself to a few subjects when taking photographs. All the more so as from the second day on, thick snowfall and wind reduced visibility to a few meters.
