This is the ceiling tie for mrs. Henry, I wanted to do something fun and whimsical and I decided on this inparticular due to someone under the influence of marijuana telling me that there head was a gold fish bowl with a little kio fish inside of it. I originally was gonna due the gold fish bowl on the head but then i felt the composition was too constricting to the to the bowl and i also wanted to amke the lily pads bigger to contrast the dusty pink background, i made the lily pads grow infront of him, on him and behind him in order to add depth. The strong highlights on the hair ans jacket were put in palce to add to the cartoon style and be able to be seen from far away when looking up at the ceiling. The sun was put in the corner last minute in order to rap up the whole peice and give it its own boundries for the eyes. I think the the fish turned out really good, my favorite part is the mark making i did on him for his pattern withe the black and orange with how they look almost pixilated and thin lines in them.
