Summer 2018
I worked as a camp counselor and also had the opportunity to serve as a member of the media team. While on the media team I had the opportunity to make a video for one of the biggest weeks of the summer. I was in charge of making a schedule for a full day event and making sure I had all the footage I needed to make a video. I was then tasked with making a video to showcase the day to campers within less than 24 hours.
Summer 2019
In the summer of 2019 I was in charge of the media department at Camp Lone Star. I was in charge uploading pictures daily for parents so they could see what their kids are doing at camp. In addition, I was also in charge of making a weekly video that captures what a week of camp is like for kids and parents to have as a memory. Below are some of the videos I made throughout the summer.
A video that tells the story of a day of competition between two teams. Created a schedule to make sure that all events were being shot and that all campers would be able to see themselves in the final video.
This video captures the entire summer of the Day Camp program at Camp Lone Star. This is a program that is very dear to my heart as I have been able to build relationships with these kids and parents over the past two summers. This video was shown to them at the end of the summer to give them something to remember their summer. I was not asked to make this video but I wanted to make this to show the Day Camp families how much I have appreciated working with them over the past two summers.
