The site is at 26 Fort Street, Auckland, where our objective was to design a 70 m high mixed-use building having retail, commercial and residential spaces. The design strategy was to make it easy for pedestrians to commute from one street to the opposite side of the building. The design emphasized on creating separate access for pedestrians, corporate people, and residents. The building has two floors for retail shops, a cafe, and a restaurant, five floors for an office, and fourteen floors for residential apartments.
