UNO-Janai Campaign: Mattel

UNO-Janai, a campaign for lonely children: Mattel
ANGLE: CHILD ABUSE, BULLYING

UNO (spanish word as ONE) -Janai (Japanese word as NOT). UNO-Janai meant that "you are not alone".

SHINE A SPOTLIGHT ON THE PERVASIVENESS OF BULLYING AND SHOW BULLIED CHILDREN THEY’RE NOT ALONE BY ENCOURAGING ADULT INFLUENCERS TO SHARE THEIR STORIES OF BEING BULLIED AS CHILDREN. GENERATE AUTHENTICITY FOR UNO’S ACTION BY USING NOTABLE VOICE.

When you’re in trouble, it’s hard to know where to turn. If you tell your friends, parents or teachers what you’re feeling, will they understand? Will they think less of you? Sometimes you can feel completely alone. It’s not easy, but UNO is with you.
By learning to listen, we can make it easier for children in pain to speak out. By encouraging adult influencers to share their stories of being bullied as children, we can kickstart a nationwide conversation and show lonely kids they’re not really alone. We want lonely children to know that UNO will always stand by their side.
We wanted to empower children who feel alone and/ or who are bullied at school and more negative situations with positive feeling. We wanted to tell the massage that "you are not alone, we understand you, we are here for you".
We collaborated with a radio program named "School of Lock". The concept of this show is creating virtual community where the audience can be belonging otherwise they don't have a place where they can be themselves.
We created the message video to children from the radio speakers. They talked about their experiences about when they feel lonely, scare, pressure and tell the audience the advices.
