Landacape Design of Djibouti Delta Project

The design of Djibouti delta project was given to Archi-comp company. It involved a mix of engineering groups to design the whole concept and offer the details for construction. I was involved with the designing the landscape features of this project.
Djibouti is a contry located at the west of Africa. The Delta area was a location that the clients wanted to build a small urban area composed of residental, commercial, educational and recreational buildings and spaces. The position of the buildings were specified, thus I had to combine them into a whole using landscape designing. My concept was to focus on human scaled spaces and to represent vibrant urban spaces for people to communicate. The second phase of the designing was to offer details for planting, materials, lighting, dimension and furniture of the whole landscape.
