flora can often evoke memories of a particular place, time or situation which gives people sentiment — vegetation is a physical representation of this sentimental value.
a certain place tends to be associated with a particular memory for a lot of people. Providing a link between a plant and a roadmap of place and sentiments enables the user to experience an external memory, therefore empowering the memento.
concept — connection between keepsake and packaging; how value can be perceived through flora and memories.
design deliverable — a cactus and enclosure that extends into an experiential place-based essay.
