Major Civil Rights Lawyer Joins NYU Law School Faculty
An accomplished biotechnology and pharmaceutical development professional with more than two decades of experience, Steve Kanzer serves as the chairman and CEO of Accredited Ventures, Inc., in New York City. Prior to embarking upon his professional career, Steve Kanzer received his JD from the New York University School of Law.

Last February, the NYU School of Law appointed Deborah N. Archer to serve as an associate professor of clinical law at the school. A famed civil rights attorney, she previously worked with the school, where she held a civil rights clinic in the fall of 2017.

Ms. Archer currently leads the Racial Justice Project and serves as a co-director of the Impact Center for Public Interest Law at New York Law School (NYLS), where she has served on the faculty for the past 15 years. NYU Law School Dean Trevor Morrison praised Ms. Archer’s credentials in the civil rights and social justice fields, adding that he is “excited” that she will be joining the school’s faculty.
