Drop Dead, Juliet
One of the promotional posters done for a play I directed, Drop Dead, Juliet. A Shrek-like rendition of the original play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare (middle) plays an arrogant playwright when his characters come to life and fight for their rights as females. Juliet (left) begins the rebellion by arguing that she doesn't deserve to die and the fight for female Shakespearean characters ensues. This poster was inspired by the Mr. and Mrs. Smith iconic advertisement.
