Gregory and Appel Insurance is a well known company throughout Indianapolis. This office wants to “bring the exterior inside” as the idea and concept behind the renovation of their new space. Gregory and Appel are looking to take full advantage of their building’s view of the city. By bringing the exterior in, the concept focuses on the city and its fast paced atmosphere.
Sharp grays and bold wall patterns allow the city into this work environment. When employees or clients walk into this space, they will experience the fast-paced feel that the city promotes. Views of the city will bring the exterior in and give everyone in the space a feeling of energy. The contrast between the linear and curved elements will provide a feeling of motion. The carpet tile will have strict, ridged lines whereas the wallcoverings will provide smooth, soft curves; both aspects of the space will play off each other to create a feeling of movement.

The angles of the walls reflect the streets of Indianapolis. The architecture is inspired by the movement and energy this design concept creates.
