Signup Page
Our internet street smarts keep us familiar with the typical signup interface, containing text fields requesting our name, username-to-be, e-mail, or social media for 1-click integrations. While it's a necessity to respect these fundamental signup elements, a signup experience misses out on visual branding if that's the only element in front of us.
With this in mind, I was inclined to redesign SoundCloud's signup page.
Here is the current "Sign in" & "Create account" interface shown below.
(Both "Sign in" & "Create account" for their site currently displays the same page)
Below is my first re-design:
I aimed to preserve the amount of negative space and their signup card, while creating new flare with a compromising spatial layout to make room for graphics and a slogan (DISCLAIMER "Your Very Own" not being their slogan).
It could even be a leading phrase to a call-to-action!
