The St. Andrew's Ashton-on-Ribble church got in contact when they were updating their website, wanting to establish a refreshed and revitalised logo to fit their new styling. They told me that their current logo was "pretty dated" and they were looking for "something more modern, but that will be accessible to people of different ages".

An extra challenge in this piece of work was originality. There are many generic church logos out there, and so I worked with St Andrew's to establish an identity for their church that would be unique to them.The key elements of the original design were strong and recognisable - something that I wanted to utilise when refreshing the design - to give a look and feel that was familiar yet fitting with the times. After various editing rounds, we settled on a design that combined the steeple of the church, the A of St. Andrew's, and icon of gathered people to create a unique and strong logo design.
