Laser scanning and 3D modelling of the first and biggest European underwater restaurant - Under
One of our most prestigious projects. A great adventure was the opportunity to see the interior of this building, at the head of which is a dozen centimeters thick, lenticular pane, able to withstand the gigantic pressure of moving water.
Laser scanning was intended to prepare data for a company that designs cladding panels that will adorn interior walls in the future.
This meant the requirements of very high accuracy, in order to avoid problems with matching the panels - this would dramatically increase the construction costs and, what is worse, the time of its completion. The restaurant had a strictly determined opening date.

This project is also an example of the efficiency of using the 3D laser scanning method in acquiring the necessary spatial information.
The measurement started on Monday at 8 am, while the client received a ready 3D model on Wednesday at 12 o'clock.
Being still impressed by the investment, we hope that we will be able to carry out measurements on such modern facilities as Under.
