Bloomberg West Coast R+D Tech Hub, a 20,000 square foot flagship work and event space consisting of two upper floorplates of San Francisco’s landmark Pac Bell Building skyscraper. Reception lounge and pantry spaces are gathered beneath a slatted oak ceiling canopy that reinterprets the geometry of the historic façade’s ornamentation visible through perimeter windows. Workstations and meeting rooms are configured to wrap the periphery, close to daylight and views of the city and bay beyond. An immersive media ceiling sculpture wraps steel facets around an inner digital screen lining a central void cut between the two floor levels.
