Inspired by the pattern of the Celtic knots, this aluminium dome is made from 15 individual curved semi-circular pieces of 2 different sizes. Slots are cut on every single piece, so they can be fitted together to form a dome. The sheet metal is first measured, cut, curved together on the slip roller (to control the curvature), cut again, and slotted together. This dome fits nicely under one hand, making the piece both elegant and precise.
