Indonesia through infographics Book
The visual department of Kompas Daily Newspaper in Jakarta published their first infographics book titled Indonesia dalam Infografik (Indonesia through Infographics) on 28 June 2014. The book is a compilation of selected infographics spanning 15 years of research, production and publication of these feature editorial graphics. The book explores Indonesia’s cultural heritage as well as modern icons visually. I coordinated the project and served as the infographics editor.

The book was launched alongside several events celebrating Kompas Daily Newspaper's 49th anniversary. Held at the remarkable Bentara Budaya Jakarta gallery, the launch event and exhibition opening featured a talkshow by our own senior infographics artist, a renowned Indonesian visual artist and musician, and anthropologist. The event was followed by an official book launching by Kompas’s chief editor, Rikard Bagun who wrote the book’s preface.
