UCLA Northwest Campus Masterplan

The study consisted of the architectural analysis, programming and planning for the expansion and improvement of the student housing facilities at UCLA. The plan created a Student Village atmosphere in the southern portion of a 9.27 acre area on the UCLA Campus. The plan organized the area into smaller neighborhoods with organizing open spaces to order circulation, security, commons and study areas. This plan concurrently reinforced the adjacency relationships between Campus recreation areas and the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. The accessibility between the student housing and the northern recreation areas was also improved.
