There will be a specific, likely unexpected content you would have to deal with.
You will work in groups of three to five persons. You will develop an idea, a plan, and realize it in any medium.
Design is Interpretation.
The hidden subtitle of the workshop would be “Curating Trash”. I would not announce it to the students before because I don’t want them to think about how they could control this collection of things in advance.
I would ask them to empty the worthless stuff in their backpacks onto the table. This “trash” would be the content, so the given facts, that they would have to deal with.
Our Trash
We realize that, our trash contains orders, directions to the consumer. And since they wanted to be taken seriously, we mock with it and turn them into a very small booklet.
