After studying color theory, I became intrigued by the idea of manipulating colors in my photographs. What specially drew my attention was a monchromatic color that dominates the entire photograph by its singular hue effect. I thought it would be challenging if i could photograph something that only contains texture and details when it comes to monochromatic colors. To create those images, I used a lint roller to collect residue from disparate things we normally encounter in everyday life; clothes, a couch, a pillow, and even a bookcase, etc. Digitizing the residue from the lint roller papers, I transferred those respective colors onto felt to enhance their textural elements.
