A 'plate' built up for printing with Bristol board cutouts and modelling paste. Will leave an imprint in the paper once run through the press.
A clean, white print from a set of three. The images are 'debossed'; the paper is compressed by the raised plate, leaving low areas behind.
An Artist's Proof of the debossing. Soil was mixed with water to create a dirt 'paint' to work with. Charcoal and red water colour paint have also been used.
