Art 437: Lazarus
I had the opportunity to create and brand the company Lazarus. Lazarus is an high-end upcycling company who's mission is to bring old and used clothes back to life. I went through many different ideas for what I wanted the company to be before I chose the final brand.

The brand for Lazarus has a modern feel with a touch of vintage. It represents the idea of the old and new working together to create something unique and exciting.

The first step was to create the logotype. I played around with having a very "70's looking" font before deciding that it was too chaotic for the brand I was going for. While sketching, I realized how much I loved the look of a lower-case serif font with rounded accents. It made the logotype look clean and simple, while keeping the vintage touch that I was going for.
Next, I designed the hangtag that would be used on all of the clothing found at Lazarus. I again wanted this to be modern, but I decided to have some fun with pattern. Since the majority of the hangtag is so clean, I included a pattern with a very 70's vibe on the front of it. I think that it gives a unique pop of color that adds a lot of personality.
I then went on to design the company's invoice. The main goal of this invoice was to provide the customer with a clear overview of their order. Although mostly informational, I still wanted the invoice to fit with the brand. While leaning toward the more modern side of Lazarus, I used some of the fun colors that were used in the hangtag to tie the invoice to the brand.
Lastly, I created a sale sheet for Lazarus. The purpose of a sale sheet is to provide the employee with all of the information about a garment that they need in order to effectively sell it to the customer. I used the blue color of the sweater to compliment the orange and pink that are used in some of the typography.
