Wipeout 3 (X360 Kinect / WiiU / Wii / 3DS)
Wipeout 3 was my second title in the Wipeout brand, and my first project as Lead UI Designer. My team varied in size over the course of production, ranging from 2-6 people of varying disciplines.
Our team came up with a great look that was fun and easy to navigate. One of the biggest challenges was to create an interface that could accommodate navigation with the Kinect, a touch screen (WiiU) and controllers (Wii, 3DS). Another challenge was creating assets for two different implementation pipelines (Scaleform vs hard-coded textures).
