The Art of Sensory Treatment Towards Advancing Mental Health

This is a dissertation final year project to create a solution for the society problems that we've been facing
in the current world. The writer picks the topic regarding "mental health" standards that has been decreasing
around the teenagers. It is believed that the cause of the declination of the mental health has been caused
by the fact that these teenagers has been running away from their problems towards the internet. The effect
of this has been revolving towards; stress, anxiety, depression and similar negative effects.
The writer relates the root idea of this project with a recent trend, a sensory reaction named ASMR.
ASMR is a short form of Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, which is an effect that goes through
our audio-visual which can give comfort to the listener/viewer. Therefore, this project is to create an
interior architectural space which may help the teenagers to experience certain programmes and
activities for them to be able to relieve their stress and gain calmness.
