Project Title: Cloud Market at Bronzeville: Marketplace and Public Library

Project Description: The Cloud Market & Public Library aims to create a hybrid building combining both the motion and color of a market and a place of gathering knowledge and focus of a library. The project is located on the South of the neighborhood and is a natural connector between 31st street and Gropious Plaza in the North. It also connects the Train stations with the commercial area on the west of the neighborhood. 

Viewed from the top of buildings such as the residential towers, train station or the commercial terraces, the Market Place seems to be a "Dense Forest" of structural elements that create a sense of porosity and at the same time an sculpture on the field. The building becomes a portal between the four sides of the site and allows not only physical connection but visual transparency between the views of the people.
