A cafe & coffee roaster was looking to put the packaged coffees they offered in-house to stores. They wanted something that both stood out on the shelf and was also something customers would want to see on their counter every morning. To achieve that, I went with this Gatsby-inspired, chalkboard look. If it was in the budget, a matte finish to the black while the white would shine with gloss, would give richness and texture to the bag. Each variety would have its own accent color, so on the shelf, they would be a unit. The high contrast of the design would ensure visibility on the shelf, and the elegant but playful design would be enjoyed by the customer.
