This product was created to educate readers on the history and anatomy of Blackletter typeface, in addition to the creation of Amador. It was created from in-depth research, and defines the who, what, why, when and how this typeface came to be and the impact it has in the world of type today.
My research went as far as rendering of several new letters, which mimicked the craft and technique that the artist, himself, used when styling this family of fonts.
