Kurtuluş Meydan presents a livable, vibrant new center to the district and to the city. The design principles generating this new spatial organization/environment prioritize achieving a quality public space, with a vibrant street life, used mutually by a diverse profile of residents, with community service components concentrated on the street level, leading activity spaces, such as a new cultural center, a market space, youth center and a lot of open spaces, creating a continuous and sustainable urban life, around seasonal activities, celebrations, sports and leisure.
