The Memory Necklace is a sensory object to be used by people who experience Dementia. The concept is to provide sensory stimulation through scent to increase cognition in those with dementia. 

Any herbal scent can be stored in the necklace, ball bearings crush the scent when the necklace is shook, releasing an aroma which will provide the user with their desired scent. Certain smells may spark memories, and allow for a reminiscent moment to occur between user and product.

The Memory Necklace hopes to encourage independence by allowing the user to take part in a sensory activity without depending on others.
