The public area represents a modern interpretation of traditional architectural approaches distinctive for the region. The interior intervention continues outdoors and translates into a floating structure giving the visitors the opportunity to interact with the waterfront.
The inner space closed around the building is defined by four free standing volumes.They are placed on top of a small slope platform that covers the whole space and wrapped into a shading structure with multiple small scale gardens. The volumes are multifunctional halls for culture events and under the platform is situated the car parking for both visitors and inhabitants.
The residential area is structured by various two storey modules. The pauses in the structure are used as shared courtyards and meeting areas.
On the first storey is situated the horizontal communication across the building alongside residential units. The second storey is entirely private. All units have side view towards the gardens situated in the ventilation openings.
