This project was all about experimenting with color and values.  These are some thumbnails of potential designs--all of which were inspired by succulents.

Here we have muted colors, one with high contrasting values and the other without!

These two also have high contrasting values versus low contrasting values, but this time using very saturated colors!

For the final portion, I combined colors with high and low saturation.  No one of these paintings is the 'finished' version. They're all just experiments. I would some day like to return to this design as well as some of the others, now that I know even more!
