This exhibition shared works that use garment manufacturing waste to create more. Christina presented “the life of jamdani”, a documentation of recycling at dosa, tracking 15 years of one fabric through multiple layers of use and creative reuse. Site-specific recycled jamdani window scrims were inspired by the ornamentation of the Carnegie Mansion’s breakfast room, with designs echoing the ceiling tiles, and color palette drawn from the gardens outside.
