Experimentation with sound, color and movement in an immersive space.
Work developed for my thesis in the BFA program of Art & Technology at the University of Oregon.
Primarily focusing on my synesthetic experiences, this work explores the involuntary associations between sound, color, movement and time in the context of a sensory space.
Through an experimental process of transforming sound, into color, into movement, into time and back into movement - I created an immersive version of the way I experience emotions.

I composed my own ambient soundtrack, and interwove two additional audio tracks - of voices and wind. The ambient music was played throughout the space, but the tracks of voices and wind were played through localized sound speakers- which I directed at specific spaces in the room. Therefore, the viewers sensory experience was dependent on their physical location. Creating a singular experience dependent on space and time.
