African Students Association
As Art Director and, now, President, of the University of Michigan’s African Students Association, I am in charge of the visual branding and messaging of the organization. Through exciting and ever-changing flyer design, as well as minimal and universally-useful logo design, my design has been able to create a noticable and recognizable identity for ASA on campus.
In addition to heading the visual branding of the organization, my responsibilities have expanded to event management, in planning and leading events such as mass meetings, which range from socials to facilitating dialogues regarding cultural, political, and personal topics. This event planning can expand also to much larger events such as “Fusion,” which saw an audience of over 200, and our annual Culture Show, which sees an audience of over 600 each year.
