Two-Week workshop to develop architectural and landscaping design concepts for The City of Greater Geelong, based on The Central Geelong Action Plan. The main goal was to reconnect the waterfront area to the central district, by revitalizing and proposing new environments of interaction.

All in all, promoting the the City's growth as a new hub for 'work, live and play'.
About Geelong...
Officially called The City of Greater Geelong , is a port city located on Corto Bay, 75 kilometers southwest of the capital city of the state of Victoria, Melbourne. It is the second largest city in the state with an estimated urban population of about 190,000 people
As it stands today, it is a relatively slow-paced urban center, home to Deakin University’s Waterfront and Waurn Ponds campuses.
However, the city has ambitious plans to become a thriving community in the next 15 years.

Street Furnishing
As it sits today, Geelong's waterfront area is littered with lackluster public furnishing, plagued with a lack of material and design unity across the entire area. The set goal was to bring this to an end, providing formal harmony across the board with warmer and locally sourced materials.
