Spring 2011 Introduction to Product DevelopmentModular classroom furniture designed for three levels of stackable use with a removable white board, internal storage space, and 18"x18" work surfaces. The pieces are meant to promote mobility and active teaching methods focused on discussion and interaction rather than traditional lecture. The purpose of the multidisciplinary course is to teach human centered design principals and apply them to this semester long project. The project team consisted for five students with one industry mentor from Steelcase.
