Our corporate site hadn't been redesigned in at least 5 years, and it was finally time. The previous design (which I was not a part of) had a lot of skeuomorphic elements, so I decided to flip and go with a more modern, flat aesthetic. As you can tell from other designs, I'm a huge proponent of flat design :)

The old site also needed content re-architecture and a different purpose. It used to follow an older site model of just navigation and placing a chunk of content under a header and forcing the user to just explore on their own, not really connecting a lot of the content areas. We heavily revised the content and layout to help tell our actual story, to entice clients to want to work with us and prospective employees to want to work for us.

My main goal was to give the site breathing room, employing large, full-width sections on each page to dedicate to certain ideas and pieces of content. And, obviously, the site needed to be mobile responsive, which it is 100%.

We just recently released this new site, and there are a lot of updates and improvements in the pipeline for the weeks and months to come, so check back frequently!

We were in the midst of some other projects during the discovery and research phase of this, so a couple other people handled things like stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis and site re-architecture.
